This website profiles the life and achievements of an outstanding
musician, detailing Les Reed's early days right through to the present.
Although better known for writing popular hits such as 'Delilah'
and 'It's
Not Unusual'
for Tom Jones, Les's talent encompasses a far greater musical
spectrum. The site contains audio clips from recordings of Les's works, as
well as a comprehensive discography of his many hits.

Top 10 this week!
“Marching On Together” written by Les Reed and Barry Mason and sung by
Leeds United FC went straight in to the BBC Radio One Top 40 singles
chart at No. 10 this week. It is also No. 1 on the BBC Radio One Indie
Charts! Lovely news indeed for Les and his wife, June, who are
celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary this very week.
Based purely on downloads, the single was re-released after Leeds United
gained promotion to the Championship earlier this month. The single was
originally released in 1972 and went into the charts at No. 10 on the
27th May, exactly 38 years ago!
Strangely enough, The Rolling Stones also reached No. 1 in the album
charts in the same week as Leeds United in 1972 and, lo and behold, they
are No. 1 in the album charts this week with the very same album.
