In the early ‘70s, Les was still providing hit songs for artists, not least of all Engelbert, P.J Proby and many others, including “Delilah” for The Alex Harvey Soul Band, and “Hello Happiness” for The Drifters. A particular favourite was “That’s What Life Is All About” written with, and recorded by, Bing Crosby, which became a hit in the UK and USA. Les also worked with Sammy Davis Jr and Peter Lawford on a film called “One More Time”, produced by Jerry Lewis.
